Wine & Dine with Cold Hand Winery

Join us for an evening of Danish wine when we visit Cold Hand Winery from Randers for a special Wine & Dine at Centralen.

Cold Hand Winery has made a name for itself with their Danish fruit wines and works with some of the ingredients that our climate is the best for — apples, cherries, black currants and plums.

This evening we will be visited by Astrid Lind Kahr, who takes us into the history of Cold Hand Winery, the people behind and the work of creating wines from Danish raw materials.

6 servings from Centralen's kitchen In the kitchen, we put together 6 servings, where seasonal ingredients and Cold Hands wines are allowed to meet around the table.

Along the way, we taste a selection of Cold Hand Winery's wines, while Astrid talks about the wines, the ingredients and the thoughts behind it. An evening for those who are curious about what happens when Danish wine and food are allowed to play together.

Tonight's menu Snack/starter: Endive (Christmas salad), smoked white fish, tarragon cream and garnish Kale soup: Confit egg yolk, rye bread croutons, pistachio and pumpkin seeds Mini pies: Crab, chestnut and caviar Crispy pig: Brussels sprouts and lemon soured cream Chicken: Pickled and roasted pumpkin, Vesterhav cheese and herbs Beer bread: Apple compote, vanilla cream and honey roasted nuts
